DESCRIPTION:SPOTLIGHT ON THE ARTS: STEVE BECKMAN\nFREE RECEPTION: APRIL 16\,  2:00 – 4:00 PM \nBeloved watercolor artist Steve Beckman will be featured for the Hallet Oak Gallery’s April “Spotlight on the Artist.” Beckman\, who passed away suddenly in his home March 28\, was a long time exhibitor at the gallery. Although the gallery featured his work in its spotlight exhibit for this past January it is returning his work to the spotlight for April. Proceeds from any sales will go to Steve’s brother\, Jeff Beckman\, for help with funeral expenses. Steve was an active member of Hallettsville’s South Central Texas Art League and the Mossy Grove Methodist Church. \nAll Spotlight exhibits are free and open to the public. The reception will be Saturday\, April 16 from 2:00 till 4:00 PM at the gallery\, 115 N. Main St.\, Hallettsville. The gallery invites fellow artists and friends to come enjoy a glass of wine\, view Steve’s watercolors\, and share memories.
