She attended Sam Houston University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and is a contemporary artist specializing in unique photographic images only she sees and creates. Pamela Urban explains\, ”I enjoy exploring forests to see what new can be discovered! Having loved drawing and painting at an early age\, art became a passion the moment a camera was placed in my hands.” The continued appreciation for nature developed from fishing with her grandmother to hiking at the Texas State Parks with her pet dog.  Urban has captured a-many stock photographs of plants in their native environment.
