All are welcome to attend the opening and meet David Fuentes in person. \n  \nDavid Fuentes\, born with cerebral palsy on the right side of his body\, his fine art reflects his life as an artist. A graduate of Texas A &M with a BA in Fine Arts\, and the University of Dallas with a Masters in Fine Arts\, has exhibited internationally and is published. Currently he is a professor in the Department of Art at Texas A & M University – Corpus Christi. \n  \nFuentes exhibit will remain on display through March 30th. She attended Sam Houston University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and is a contemporary artist specializing in unique photographic images only she sees and creates. Pamela Urban explains\, ”I enjoy exploring forests to see what new can be discovered! Having loved drawing and painting at an early age\, art became a passion the moment a camera was placed in my hands.” The continued appreciation for nature developed from fishing with her grandmother to hiking at the Texas State Parks with her pet dog.  Urban has captured a-many stock photographs of plants in their native environment. This fee includes live Old Time Appalachian – Pre-bluegrass music planned for the night before on Friday\, June 7\, 2019. \nAbout: Dr. Oliver McRae \nDr. McRae is an unusual hybrid of Scholar and Artist. For two decades he was a university Art Historian with scholarship published in four languages. \nFor four decades he’s been a professional commission artist\, with sculptures and paintings in various public and private institutions and collections. \nHis prime area of ongoing scholarship is the collaborative\, intermingling integration of Architecture\, Art and Society – as the pinnacle of Civilization. \nConsidered a “Futurist”\, Dr. McRae has been consulting with industry leaders for two decades. His presentations and workshops build on the strengths of the Past and the Present in charting the trends\, and locating the hotspot potential just ahead in both the near and long term Future. \n  \nAbout Doug Kubicek \nDoug has had a life-long love of Texas history\, especially of Lavaca County. As a child he explored fields\, bridges\, and graveyards\, bringing home arrowheads\, broken glass and other artifacts.
