Hallet Oak Gallery is hosting a Wild Spooktacular Afternoon Party and Pumpkin Contest

Hallettsville, TX – Hallet Oak Gallery downtown Hallettsville invites the public to its Wild Spooktacular Afternoon Party on Saturday, October 25 noon to 3 pm.  Celebrate a Prairie Texas themed day full of art, fun, and treats including a pumpkin contest, gallery tours, interactive activities, and treats for all ages.

Pumpkin Contest & Party Details
Date & Time for Pumpkin Drop-off: Same day as Party:  October 25, 2025 | 11:45 a.m.
Winners of the Pumpkin Contest and Prior Raffle Ticket Sales: Announced at 3:00 pm.

Doors close:  4:00 p.m.

Bring already carved pumpkins celebrating Prairie Texas — the wilder, the better! Pumpkins will be numbered for public voting, and winners in each division will receive fun prizes. The All Around Favorite will receive a $50 cash prize.

Contest Divisions:

• Kid Critters (6–11) – wildest, cutest, most creative
• Teen Critters (12–14) – wildest, cutest, most creative
• Adult Critters (15 & up) – wildest, cutest, most creative
• All Around Favorite – People’s Choice

Carved Pumpkin Rules: Only battery-operated lights may be used, and openings must be on the bottom. All entries and costumes must be family-friendly; HOG reserves the right to deem appropriateness for entry. The pumpkins can be taken home after the party or donated to the Gallery.
