Ecology River Art by Monica Garza-Mischer – A special art exhibit reveal scheduled June 25th!
June 25, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Commissioned through the Hallet Oak Gallery funded with a 2022 Texas Commission on the Arts Ecology Agriculture Grant, Monica Garza-Mischer, a local established artist, will reveal two mosaic artworks that have been inlaid on the Hallet Oak tree wood donated by John Carpenter. Hallet Oak Gallery will provide a free fun hands-on art activity to take home!

ABOUT REVEAL: Monica Garza-Mischer’s mosaic artworks on display are commissioned by Hallet Oak Foundation through a 2022 Ecology Grant from Texas Commission on the Arts.
ABOUT ART CONTEST: In conjunction with the opening reception for Garza-Mischer, Hallet Oak Gallery is partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife to support an ecology art contest. Artists of all ages may submit entries at the reception on June 25th. Entries should depict a favorite animal with food, shelter, and water and may be in any medium. Garza-Mischer will judge the artworks and award prizes at 3 PM.
