Bob Weiss Presents “The Enjoyment of Energetic Materials (Fireworks)” December 12, 2015 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
“The Enjoyment of Energetic Materials (Fireworks)” will be the topic Saturday, December 12, 2015, as Bob Weiss shares techniques for making the home fireworks show more spectacular while keeping it safe.
Bob is a retired commercial pilot who has loved pyrotechnics all his life. Retiring to a farm in Lavaca County in 1997, he found the space and leisure to indulge his passion, experimenting with creating his own fireworks and mounting purchased fireworks to enhance their effects. No celebration goes by on the Weiss farm without a fireworks display!
Registration for the “Lunch and Learn” is 11:00-11:30 AM. The presentation begins at noon. The fee for those who preregister by December 10th is $15 ($12 each for two or more) and includes a box lunch. Walk-in tickets are available but will not include lunch.
The Hallet Oak Gallery, a venue for art, business, education and entertainment, is located at 115 N. Main St. on the square in Halletsville.
