2nd Monday Night Music at the HOG featuring Libby Koch and Chuck Hawthorne, Americana/Alternative Country

Hallet Oak Gallery, a one-stop arts center, featured guests are Chuck Hawthorne, a veteran with 21 years of military service and Libby Koch. Known for her true country voice.

Chuck Hawthorne developed his voice in Texas and on board the USS Iwo Jima. He sings about people he knew in his hometown, on numerous deployments, and many points in between.

Libby Koch’s Americana sound blends the songwriting soul of classic country music with gospel roots, a rock edge, and the storytelling sensibility of a Texas folk troubadour. She delivers each song with powerful vocals in the style of her heroes – Dolly, Emmylou, Patsy – but with her own signature voice.

In the relaxed atmosphere at the HOG the performers interact with the audience, entertaining questions and sharing insight into their music.

Music Night at the HOG is held the 2nd Monday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Bring your own drinks. Ice and cups provided. Checks and cash accepted for $15 door fee. $12.50 for advance ticket purchase.
