What programs would you like to add to the Gallery: St. Nicolas Day, Day of the Dead, Cinco de Mayo, Chinese New Year, International festivals working with schools, adding learning programs, and improvements for students with disabilities.

Why would the public visit the Gallery?

Hallet Oak Gallery has an intimate atmosphere!  The Gallery offers opportunities to meet other creative persons: musicians, authors, artists. There is free parking, free internet, free events and refreshments! We offer books, supplies, video – all free to view on site. We have art for sale, donated vintage jewelry to offer, art kits to buy.

What is new at the Gallery?

We now have scavenger hunts for all ages – we give away free prizes on completion of hunt. We are reaching out to senior citizen centers and schools to attend our many free events. The Gallery is focusing on student exhibits.

What are the Gallery’s  main programs? Hallet Oak Foundation supports six programs within the Gallery:

1) One Stop Art Center

Family-friendly, a place downtown to see and experience art:

Open Daily: 11 AM to 3 PM   Monday – Saturday.  Free entry.

Experience scavenger hunts, art projects, books, piano, and more!

2) Free Exhibits  

Free spotlight reception openings:

Features established and emerging artists, including students.

3) Outreach Programs

Includes nominal entry fees for learning:

Music Night – 6 times a year, depending on funding.

Sip & Paint –  4 times a year.

Lunch & Learns –  3 times a year, depending on funding.

June Photography Workshops & Walking Tours for youths and adults.

Summer Art Camp for ages 8 to 11.

4) Art Studio Space

We encourage Artists to teach day and evening classes:

Michael Windberg teaches oil painting on Tuesday with afternoon and evening sessions.
