The Annual “Art in Architecture Conference Partnering with Texas Society of Architects” is a two-day event that has: live music, Lavaca County Courthouse tours, book signings, art contest for adults, teens, and children – Best of Show wins $200, and distinguished guest speakers and authors.

Overall, Savanna Filip of Hallettsville took home three awards for her two color photography entries of the Fayette County Courthouse built by J. Riely Gordon. Savanna Filip’s awards include the $200 prize for the Best of Show and she won First and Second Place for the Teen Category.

In the Children’s Division, Kade Immekus, 9 years old, won First Place for his black and white photography of the J. Riely Gordon mansion, which is best known as the J.F. Miller House in Gonzales.
