Contemporary Artist Elizabeth Payne is the featured artist for the Hallet Oak Gallery’s Spotlight on the Arts for the month of September. Elizabeth Payne moved to Texas 24 years ago. Her oil paintings include scenes from New York and Texas. Her work is recognizable by the vivid palette of colors, which have become more intense over the years as they capture moments in time. Her work has been exhibited in the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, the Art Museum of South Texas in Corpus Christi, the Nave Museum in Victoria, and Beeville Art Museum in Beeville. Elizabeth and her husband reside near Yoakum, Texas in Lavaca County. All artworks will be available to purchase and will remain on display through September 30, 2017.
