Popular South Central Texas singer and songwriter JD Wellfed (John Reeves) of Sweet Home will lead the first in a series of musical evenings Monday night at the Hallet Oak Gallery. JD’s two featured guests will be Joe Kirkpatrick and Michael Stroup, both are known locally for their Americana music and are big city favorites. The trio will be performing on stage together and telling the stories behind them. An interview will be followed by questions and answers will give participants a chance to learn about the music that they are enjoying. The series will be held every 2nd Monday and will feature a different artist each month. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Bring your own drinks. Ice and cups provided.
