Hallet Oak Gallery Sponsors Christmas Fundraiser for Area Schools
The Hallet Oak Gallery is offering a fundraising opportunity that will showcase the talents of young artists in South Central Texas. The Gallery will supply Christmas ornaments for students to decorate. The decorated ornaments will be on display on the Gallery’s Christmas tree and for sale during Hallettsville’s annual Festival of Lights celebration on the square and through the Christmas season.
Participating schools will receive 70% of proceeds from ornament sales. When an ornament is sold the Gallery will replace it on the tree with a photo of the artist’s school and the artist’s first name.
Teachers are asked to contact the Gallery by November 20th to pick up ornaments for their students. Join Hallet Oak Gallery in beginning a new tradition and making this fundraising opportunity a success for your school!
Every Christmas season, the Lavaca County Courthouse is lit with white lights entirely blanketing the entire downtown square — a Hallettsville City tradition since 1996 called Festival of Lights. The Hallet Oak Gallery will be open for the festivities, and every Saturday thereafter from 9 am to 9 pm.
