3rd Annual Spooktacular Haunted Tunnel – Oct. 31, 2017 Free Open to the Public Event

 

Teens and children from the ages of five on up enjoy the Hallet Oak Gallery Spooktacular Haunted tunnel with their family and friends.

Sacred Heart Catholic School, Hallettsville, TX, Art Students decorated the outside of the tunnel working with Art Teacher, Colette Burroughs. Bob Weiss, Gallery supporter and volunteer designed and created the tunnel using reclaimed boxes.

 The art surrounds the Gallery to create opportunities for youths, any age to experience art and to create memories that will last forever.

This event is supported by Dr. Betty J. Edwards, the City of Hallettsville, and additional sponsors and supporters:  Bob Weiss, designed and created the tunnel using reclaimed cardboard boxes; Bob and his wife, Lois Weiss – President of the South Central Texas Art League, also donated flowers for the sign-in table; Walmart donated candy and scary prizes; Hair on the Square donated candy and corn dogs; Alice Vickers, Hallet Oak Board member  and Artist donated refreshments, Artists – Roy and Blanche Cavarretta donated the bottled water and cheese tray; table carnation gift flowers were donated by Designs by Donna; Halloween cookies and candy donated by  Linda Cejka. And decorations, and ghost candy donated by Sacred Heart Catholic School Art Students. Additional financial support comes from membership dues and from donors of the Gallery throughout the year. Volunteers staying to assist throughout he Halloween evening were: Linda Cejka, Mieko Mahi, Aaron Riske, Blanche Cavarretta and Roy Cavarretta.
